Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Neurology & Medicine, Clinical Chief, Division of Geriatric Mental Health & Memory Care, University of Rochester Medical Center

Santos will give a brief overview of the multiple neuropsychiatric symptoms and mental health concerns for patients and caregivers, describe the use of several medications to treat these symptoms, and explain how deprescribing medications can be more helpful than continually adding more medications and how many medications are utilized in a temporary manner.
