Free Regional Workshops Open to the Aging Services Network This Fall!

Dear Colleagues:

This is a friendly reminder that community/human services organizations, nonprofits, local government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders are invited to participate in FREE regional workshops on Business Acumen/Grant Writing and/or Elder Justice, sponsored by the Association on Aging in New York, in partnership with the New York State Office for Aging. A complimentary lunch will be provided at all sessions.

Business Acumen and Grant Writing

William Lane, PhD and Carol Hegeman, MS, will lead a day-long, interactive workshop to build skills in such areas as principles of business, leveraging resources, creating logic models, grant writing, and fundraising. There will be an emphasis on the process of creating goals and objectives, needs assessments and workplans. Participants will learn new ideas and develop strategies for positioning your agency in new partnerships and collaborations to better respond to the needs of your customers and diversify your finding resources.
